Our engineering team identified the underlying cause and has applied a configuration change which has returned positive results. Access has been restored to normal.

This issue did not affect mail delivery.

We are currently investigating an issue where some Hosted Exchange 2007 users are reporting problems accessing their mailbox via Outlook and OWA (Webmail).
